How SINTERED STONE is made?
SINTERED STONE are mainly made of pure natural inorganic materials such as inorganic clay, silica, feldspar, quartz of granite minerals, etc., which are formed by high pressure and fired at high temperature above 1250℃, thus forming SINTERED STONE [tough texture] and [strong physical properties]. It can be used not only as wall and floor tiles, but also as [plates].
It is not the large size of the ceramic that is called SINTERED STONE. The large slab determines its own size and thickness from the molding process. The core point of SINTERED STONE is that it can do some deep processing application to meet the customized demand, such as SINTERED STONE itself has the curvature that large slab cannot have.
The kiln firing time for traditional wall and floor tiles is about 70 minutes, while sintered stone are fired from 90 minutes for thin slabs to 120 minutes for thick slabs, a longer firing time that means better denseness and hardness.
What is SINTERED STONE ?
SINTERED STONE translates to sintered dense stone. It expresses two important qualities: sintered dense and stone origin.
The physical properties of SINTERED STONE determine its innate advantages: large specifications, high hardness, toughness and other characteristics, easily manage different cutting, grooving, drilling, hot bending and other secondary processing operations. 0 formaldehyde, no mold, food-grade surface, no biological contamination, fire resistance, wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance, easy to clean and other outstanding performance to become the material world's all-round champion. It is suitable for extreme environments such as acid and alkali resistant laboratory countertops, hospital antibacterial walls and operating countertops. SINTERED STONE is impact resistant, scratch resistant, not easily damaged by processing, stains are not easily penetrated, the surface is easier to clean, and the high temperature in daily life is not enough to damage it. It is not afraid of fading in the sun and will not be affected by dampness. The breakage rate of rock board processing is about 1~5%.
Application of SINTERED STONE.
1、The use of SINTERED STONE: ① soft decoration accounts for 70% (cabinet, door, bathroom, furniture countertop). ②Hard installation (wall paving, floor paving, background products) ③The following two meters are small size SINTERED STONE, mainly used for furniture and bathroom.
2、Application of SINTERED STONE: Parallel through body is mainly applied to furniture, particle through body is on kitchen and bathroom.
3、Nature of SINTERED STONE: Heat bending performance is closest to the ceramic material of glass.
[Luxury stone] grade selection of materials
As a [high-end product], SINTERED STONE is mainly for villas, large flat floors or high-end commercial space, therefore, in terms of design, not only practical [classic stone], but also carefully replicated varieties of more valuable and rare [luxury stone] texture, some even [gemstone] level, with high-end product design, matching high-end application scenes. The visual effect is more luxurious, more majestic atmosphere.
